Slab Artisan Fudge @ Cowes Week 2017

After having our ice cream shop in Cowes for many years, and having had many a fun Cowes Week, this year we took the plunge and also added a Slab fudge stall to the mix!

The stall all set up and ready for action on the first day. Had a great morning until rain set in and spoiled play.

Rach’s mum even came to lend a supporting hand!!

And after a great first day, it’s time for a celebratory G & T.

Slab @ I Love Wight Market, Brading 27/05/17

Slab Artisan Fudge Stall - I Love Wight Market, May

Here we are at the third I Love Wight market in Brading, and it is the end of May already. Summer is upon us once again! This monthly market has been a really great fixture in Slab’s ever busier event calendar, and we are so proud to be a part of what is growing into a really eclectic collection of independent makers of fantastic things. Big up to everyone involved!

This month was the most challenging, as the forecasted good weather ended up bringing heavy winds rather than brilliant sunshine. But that didn’t seem to stop people from turning up and having themselves a great time, even if some of the stalls did have to hold on tight to avoid blowing away!

Slab Artisan Fudge - Taste of the South, Poole

We had an absolutely fantastic weekend at Taste of the South in Poole. This was our first foray onto the mainland with Slab, so we had to cram as much fudge as humanly possible into the car, travel over The Solent and see if our fudge cut the mustard over on the big isle? Well, I am pleased to report that it seemed to go down very well and we would love to return to this event again in the future. Here’s to hopefully many more trips spreading some Slab love across the country!

Slab Artisan Fudge Events – Bank Holiday

I Love Wight Food Market – Brading 29/04/17

The first event Slab attended this weekend was the second I Love Wight Food Market in Brading, held every last Saturday of the month. Again, we had an amazing day at this exciting new monthly event which really seems to be going from strength to strength. A fabulous new event for the Isle of Wight!

The Garden Party at The Anchor – Cowes 01/05/17

And the second event Slab attended in what was a very busy weekend, at The Anchor in Cowes. An excellent day at The Garden Party to celebrate the official opening of The Mermaid Gin Bar. Slab enjoyed the festivities at what is a local haunt for us, and it was great to be a part of the fun!

If you order 4 or more Slabs from us, we will package them up in a beautiful gift box and seal it with a Slab sticker for you. Should you order multiple boxes and would like certain flavours in each box, please add a note to your order at checkout to inform us which flavours you would like in each box (otherwise we will assemble them randomly).

You can also specify gift box colour(s)! Choose from gold, black, white, pink, royal blue, buttercup yellow, lime green, kraft recycled brown or funky flower print. Again, just include a note for us at checkout otherwise we will assign randomly.

Slab Artisan Fudge Wedding Favours

Make Your Big Day Fudge-tastic!

Add a quirky and unique touch to your special day with something your guests can really sink their teeth into – bespoke fudge wedding favours!

Our favours come in the form of individual pieces of fudge wrapped in clear, sealed cello bags – the dimensions, flavours and quantities to be decided by you. For example you might want simply a chunk of Sea-Salted Caramel in each package. Or you may prefer a selection of smaller pieces in different flavours.

The favours are presented in either bags or boxes and decorated as you desire with ribbons/Slab stickers/additional decoration. We will do our best to achieve exactly what you have in mind!

Prices vary depending on sizes/amounts/packaging required. If you already have your own bags/boxes/ribbons etc and are wanting to package the fudge yourself, this will of course reduce the price.

Each order is completely unique and customisable. So please get in touch to discuss your vision for your special day and to get a quote. Since everything is made to order we would appreciate as much notice as possible so that we can complete your order ready in time for your special day.
